I have not blogged in a while. I got really bogged down in Christmas and special projects. Wow this past year has been very kind to me. Thanks to everyone who allowed me to share a piece of your lives in 2009. Here's hoping that 2010 will be even better!

I'm saving some of the most recent news and pictures for the new blog that is to be released at the end of January! Here's a goodie from last fall that I never got to blog about!

Sneak Peek for Adriane & Michael

Had so much fun Sunday afternoon with Adriane and Michael. This was our second try for engagement pics....got rained out the first time. Sunday's weather was perfect, blue skies and a light breeze. Here's just a few of my favs...

I even got to ride around in his super cool '67 Mustang affectionally known as Kate. For those of you who don't know I have my own love affair with Mustangs..... My first car was an '89 Mustang LX with a 5.0 engine. Oh the memories. His car was totally AWESOME.... Wonder if I could get away with buying one of these to use as a prop for my business?

I'll be doing a bridal shoot with Adriane on Friday. Their wedding is fast approaching in early September. Can't wait, they are such a fun and sweet couple.

We had such a great time at Jess and Matt's wedding. It was a really hot day, inside and out. But we got some really great pics. Here's one of the wedding party outside. I loved this one because of the look on Jess & Matt's faces. I did get one more serious and posed, but just loved this one because it is just so real.

We planned an after the wedding session in downtown to take some couple shots. I LOVED the way that these turned out. I'd love to do an album of just these shots! Here's a few of my favorites.

Kajal's Album

I spent all of last week finishing up the album for Kajal and Rajinder's Engagement Ceremony. Their's was the first Traditional Indian Engagement Ceremony that I have had the opportunity of covering. So many rich colors and so many rich traditions of the ceremony, it was such an interesting event to cover. I was so honored to have the opportunity to photograph it for her family. Here's some pictures of their final album.

Sneak Peek for Katie

Sunday afternoon after church, I had the pleasure of doing Katie's bridal portraits. Her Aunt Stephanie had commissioned me to do them at her home in Purvis. I promised them a sneak peek. I hope that you guys love them as much as I do.

I loved the yellow daisy in her hair (my fav flower).

I won't have the honor of doing Katie's wedding, as she is getting married in Gatlinburg in November. Thanks to Katie's family and friend for making it such a fun day for Katie and for me. Oh...and a special thanks to "Honey" for keeping me hydrated. :-)

Had a fun time with Jessica and Matt on Saturday afternoon. They were so sweet and IN LOVE!!! I'm still knee deep in OGAA baseball pictures, but promised a quick sneak peek for them.

Sneak Peek for Nikki & Michael

It was such a pleasure to do Nikki & Michael's wedding in November. I'm almost done with their proofs and will be releasing them soon.

Here's a little sample for you Ms. Glenda!

Nikki & Michael opted to take pictures together before the wedding. This was great, because it gave us a lot more time together without the pressure of having guests waiting on us.... Here's a little view of their pre-wedding walk down the isle. Michael is holding her bouquet, because he had a special surprise for her. He had the florist (Ms. Brenda Clarimont of Just Weddings and Events in Laurel) to add the red calla lilies to her bouquet. Nikki had really wanted them, but was trying to be cost conscious. The bouquet turned out so beautiful. The colors were gorgeous.

Nikki was such a classy bride. I loved her necklace. It was was her grandmother's necklace and complimented Nikki's classic style dress so well!

Here's Nikki with her little boy, Taylor. How sweet!!!

I loved the look on the bride's face in this one....it looks so natural. They are such a cute couple!

Here's Lane, Lakyn and Pam....all looking gorgeous!!!

I loved this one of the groom kissing his mom's cheek...you can really tell that they are close!

Here's a shot that really shows the closeness between Lakyn and her mom....I loved how their arms were entwined.

Miss A's Senior Portraits

Took Miss A's senior portraits in late August... They turned out GREAT! Miss A. was so enthusiastic and had a really neat place picked out to take her pics....It was a family friend's place. They had barns, ponds and lots of land that we were able to roam over. We got tons of good shots.... Here's a few.

Loved this shot with the old Dodge Truck!

This one by the pond is an absolutely beautiful picture....one of my favs!!!

I love, love, love this one with black and white with a hint of her blue eyes shining through.

Miss A. is my first girl from Sumrall. Thanks Miss A. for choosing me for your portraits.

Miss B's Senior Portraits

Been SUPER Busy lately....but hate that I've been neglecting the blog.

Here's Miss B. We shot her senior portraits in early August....I LOVE the way they turned out!

She had such great clothes to work with....Here's a few of my favs...

I loved that the graffiti on the train was the same color as her shirt!!!

Her mom said that this was not something that she would have normally have worn together, but it looked really stunning in the picture!

When she mentioned the black pencil skirt, I immediately thought of this red door.....Loved the contrast.

Loved this one....It's such a simple composition, but the look is so sophisticated.

She loves to write....loved the way this one turned out!

Loved this shoot! She was a lot of fun to work with and Thanks to her mom for driving us around all over down town! It was so nice to hop back into an ice cold car after each stop!!!

Wedding of Brock and Lakyn

Lakyn & Brock's wedding was in late June. I have been feverishly working on their portraits and
am getting close to being ready to publish. We had SO many great pictures, it's hard to pick a favorite, but here's just a few that I really liked.....

Here's one of the pre-wedding portraits of the bride. She was so gorgeous. I love the lighting in this one.

Here's a nice one of the bride & groom...It was so hot when we took these, because the air had gone out in the church. They were real troopers and never once complained.

Lakyn and her girls were all gorgeous. Loved the girls green dresses and the pink bouquets that Ms. Brenda Clairmont (the florist) made were so gorgeous. Lakyn's bouquet had the most beautiful stargazer lillies that I have ever seen.

Here's Brock and his boys...they were all so much fun to work with, constantly cutting up!!!!
